Prana’s Founding Scientist and CSA publishes landmark paper in Nature
A new report studying Alzheimer's disease and co-authored by Professor Rudy Tanzi has been published by the respected journal Nature.
Dr Tanzi and his colleague Dr Doo Yeon Kim of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston successfully grew brain cells in a petri dish that later developed signs of Alzheimer's disease. The report, which demonstrates the first proof of concept of the Amyloid Hypothesis, could play an important role in developing future treatments for Alzheimer's disease.
Prana Biotechnology would like to congratulate Dr Tanzi on his paper. The report can be read here (login required).
